396 and the heavy duty TH400 matches the car, but that’s only the beginning. Properly date coded and original 3919840
rectangular port heads seal the combustion chambers while the original 3933163
intake manifold and 780cfm Holley 4346 carburetor send in the air and
fuel. Exhaust exits through the proper 3916178
right hand and service replacement 3969869 left hand exhaust manifolds. Proper reproduction Packard wires transfer
spark from the embossed Delco coil and correct distributor to the plugs. The proper alternator with its deep groove
aluminum pulley is fastened to the motor with the correct “no hole”
bracket. Correct TR-marked bolts hold
down the new chrome valve covers; tower clamps fasten reproduction coolant
hoses. Proper markings dot the clean
satin black engine bay and its supporting components. Outside you’re greeted by clean and deep Lemans Blue
